Annette O'Toole was raised in Houston Texas in her mom's dance studio. at the age of two, she first appeared on television when she was a kid in the Don Mahoney Show for Kids. After ten years of dancing and singing with her mom and sister, she traveled into L.A. to try and determine if a show-business career could be a possibility. Within two months she got her first professional work: dancing alongside Danny Kaye on The Danny Kaye Show. "I've employed my singing and dancing training to a great extent," she says. The discipline that you gain from these classes is invaluable for an actor." O'Toole's role as a debutant as a character in My Three Sons was followed by roles in Gunsmoke as well as The Mod Squad. She has also been seen on Hawaii Five-O, The Mod Squad, The Partridge Family. Through the years, she's appeared in more than 40 series For all her success in film and television the one thing she loves most is the theatre. After her six year run on Smallville was done, to dedicate herself to the theater. That's what she has been doing since the beginning of this decade. She made the trip to New York and her first audition led to her being cast in The Sea Gull. Her appearances have been in various off-Broadway plays, such as Adam Rapp's Kindness, Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska as well as Tennessee Williams' A Lovely Sunday For Creve Couer.
